We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful automotive service center. No weekends and short Fridays. Closed the week of Christmas and all major holidays.
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems. Must be able to work Independently.
We have all the latest diag tools and equipment. Clean shop with free heat.
No Diesel or heavy truck work. No European or domestics. Only Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Acura, Subaru, Mazda and Nissan vehicles.
If you have a never give up attitude and are willing to problem-solve until you find the best solution for the customer, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codesAssist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocolsCarry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacementsConduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakesEnsure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat businessConvey necessary vehicle repair information in a clear and concise mannerQualifications
Must have minimum 5 years experience in the industry
High school diploma or GED is requiredAn associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferredAutomotive Service Excellence / ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers / SAE certification is preferredStrong customer service and communications skills are required
