As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol in Lynchburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a secure atmosphere for clients and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will also provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and embody Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required for security-related matters.
  • Remain alert and attentive while on patrol, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
