Retail Store Manager - 2899 at FirstCash
Pay range : $14.70 to $22.40 per hour. In addition to the hourly rate, a very lucrative monthly bonus may contribute to total annual income.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail / sales is a plus). A Store Manager is accountable for day-to-day store operations and promoting a positive, productive environment. The Store Manager will lead, coach, and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, and be responsible for maximizing financial goals and managing customer relations and satisfaction. The role requires analyzing the store's financial statements to ensure goals are met and making adjustments as necessary. The Store Manager commits to the company's asset protection program through inventory control, policy adherence, and securing customer loans. The position may involve promoting the business using internal and external marketing tools and targeting new customer acquisitions. All employees work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).
The successful Store Manager will receive a competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance. This position reports to the area District Manager.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and addressing customer issues promptly.
- Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
- Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure procedures protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control and secure customer loans.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested.
- Communicate clearly with employees to align with the store's mission and profit objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift / carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, bending, etc.).Demonstrated ability to supervise others.Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.Minimum Age : 18 years oldHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceAbility to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays; 45+ hours per week; hours may vary by location.Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Cash handling experience required.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; excellent work ethic and business sense.Benefits

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Store Managers receive a commission based on the store's monthly gross profit. Applicants receive more details during the interview process.
