Litigation Attorney - Insurance Defense (Associate to Partner) – Las Vegas

Hiring litigation attorneys (Associate to Partner level) for our Las Vegas office. The firm handles complex insurance defense matters, including trucking, premises liability, and general liability cases. We're looking for attorneys who can manage files, draft discovery and motions, participate in depositions, and engage with clients and carriers. This role is open to both early-career and senior litigators — from those growing under experienced leadership to those ready to mentor and lead.

Responsibilities

  • Manage or support insurance defense cases from intake through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct or assist with depositions and hearings
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and claims professionals
  • Contribute to trial preparation and strategy
  • Senior candidates : supervise and mentor associates and support staff

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing in Nevada
  • Insurance defense experience required
  • Background in trucking / transportation law is a plus
  • 4–10+ years of litigation experience
  • Strong legal writing, organization, and communication skills
  • First-chair trial experience preferred for senior applicants
  • Ability to work independently and within a hybrid / remote team

    • Work Structure & Flexibility

  • Mid-Level Associates (4–7 yrs) : Hybrid (2 days / week) or fully remote
  • Senior Associates (7+ yrs) : Hybrid (2–3 days / week) or fully remote
  • Partners (10+ yrs) : Hybrid (2–3 days / week) or fully remote
