Overview

CTG is seeking a skilled Java Engineer to support a modernization initiative for our client.

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Duration : 12 months

What You’ll Do :

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications.

Implement and enforce Java standards, architectural patterns, and best practices.

Work with Java frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JSF, EJB, and JPA.

Develop web services (JAX-RS, JAX-WS) and integrate with SOA and legacy systems.

Support Application Servers (WebLogic / WebSphere), clustering, and DevOps practices.

Contribute to critical modernization projects using Apache Flink, Storm, and Beam .

Required Skills :

6–9 years of Java development experience.

Strong experience with Java, JEE, JDBC, threads / concurrency, and design patterns .

Proficiency in Apache Flink, Storm, Beam .

Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Test-Driven Development.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
