We are seeking a detailed and experienced Framer who possesses the ability to lead a framing crew. This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a leadership position, potentially taking over from the current foreman who is nearing retirement. The ideal candidate will have the skills to teach and mentor others, working on frame additions, renovations, and interior projects. In the future, there is potential to expand into framing the entire exterior of houses, should the right person join our team.

Responsibilities :

• Review and understand project plans and specifications.
• Lay out and construct rough framing for complex residential buildings.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and join materials.
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to all building codes.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the construction team.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
