Service Route Operator

Location : O'Fallon, MO | Full-time | $22.88 per hour |

We're hiring a Service Route Operator to assist in the collection of refuse, recyclables, and yard waste along established routes. Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Operate refuse collection trucks to collect solid waste, recyclables, yard debris, and bulk waste.
• Clean, deliver, and assemble refuse and recycling containers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and cleaning of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with snow removal operations when needed.
• Follow all city and departmental safety regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education : High school diploma or GED required.

Experience : At least 1-2 years in a similar role or completion of an apprenticeship / internship.

License : Must have a Class B CDL with airbrakes issued by the State of Missouri.

Skills : Strong understanding of solid waste collection operations, vehicle maintenance, and city geography.

Physical Stamina : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
