job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location. Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and client protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents. Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities observed during assigned shifts. Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed during emergency response activities. Follow all site-specific policies and procedures to maintain the security-related integrity of the location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Description
As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control in Fountain Inn, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and exits, manage badge access, and help to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and utilize technology such as alarm panels and access control systems. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
