Located in Long Island, New York, Centroid, an Ontic Company, is a dynamic engineering and manufacturing firm delivering cutting-edge aftermarket electronic and electro-mechanical products for aerospace and defense. We specialize in sourcing and sustaining mission-critical parts at risk of obsolescence across land, air, and sea platforms ensuring operational readiness for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Our team is looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join them. You will report to the Purchasing Supervisor and will have an onsite work structure in Plainview, New York.

To be considered for the Sourcing Specialist opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you :

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other technical discipline
• 2+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing environment, or experience in a related field
• 1+ years' experience of reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Fundamental understanding of Inventory Management
• Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools is preferable

Salary Range : $80,000 - $90,000 / year, based on experience
