Position Overview
Applications Support / Inside Sales Specialist must be detailed and customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Position requires a high level of correspondence with sales team and with customers & vendors. Must be strong in Microsoft applications and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high-volume environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Knowledge of products and how to apply them (after training).
- Assist Outside Sales staff with project development.
- Assist in design solutions for specific customer application requirements and to apply engineering principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, static's, and dynamics to process control systems
- Interact with customers daily and have the ability to develop and assist in closing sales.
- Learns various selection software as given to us by manufacturers to assist in project development
- Communicate effectively with other team members concerning project management process.
- Responsible for general administrative functions to support the equipment fulfilment process.
- Responsible for generating, interpreting and printing various assigned reports.
- Maintain expense reports and utilize manufacture discounts.
Requirements
Associates Degree in Business or related field and 3 years Administrative Assistance experience; or 5 years Administrative experienceStrong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experienceOther Skills / Abilities
