Our client is a well-established German owned automated machinery manufacturer with their US headquarters here on Long Island. They have an excellent opportunity for an assembler to join their team!
Benefits Overview :
This position is a Union position with the eligibility of union membership, company-paid pension contributions, and daily overtime on the 60th day of employment. Eligible for Union medical coverage, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits. After 90 days, union employees are eligible for PTO & Holidays.
What the Ideal Candidate will do the following tasks :
Build machines & large assemblies using power tools and hand tools. Electrical (panels and cables) assembly. Follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Spray paint machine parts. Forklift and overhead hoist operations to move materials and finished products. Crate building. Basic facility maintenance tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements :
HS diploma acceptable with vocational / technical school training and equivalent combination of education / experience.
$22-$25 / hr
