We are looking for a Structural Engineer who is looking to join a collaborative team of energetic professionals and has the desire to become instrumental in the mid-stage development of the firm.

If you have at least 10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer and have experience delivering on A / E IDIQs and D / B MATOC / MACCs for federal Defense and Civilian Departments, we would like to talk with you.   Position Summary The position of Structural Engineer III requires thorough knowledge of structural design and engineering techniques.

You will be responsible for planning and conducting independent work that requires judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Your expertise will devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and GMHILL standards.

Key Tasks Following is a general list of tasks falling into the areas of responsibility of the Structural Engineer III .  It attempts to present a comprehensive, but not complete, listing of potential assignments that may be undertaken.

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
• Layout and details portions of projects using schematic layout by project lead engineer.

May be assigned responsibility for schematic or conceptual layouts when qualified.
