Purpose and Summary
Prepares vendor invoice data for entry into ERP system, then performs first-level analysis to identify system issues and determine appropriate actions to ensure correct and timely customer billing and vendor invoice payment.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices for payment of Agronomy products through Invoice Capture Center (ICC) into the Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) system. Enter data to appropriate accounts, apply against receipts of inventory, or generate customer billings.
- Review and analyze vendor invoice reports for assigned vendors; identify errors and initiate correction processes by coordinating with various departments.
- Utilize internal and external resources to compile information for resolution of vendor issues and customer billing disputes. Monitor orders using Webi to assist product divisions in problem-solving and analysis.
- Monitor changes to vendor and customer prepay / contracts for assigned products within authorized SPIs.
- Reconcile vendor invoice statements to provide accurate and current balances for prepay programs and contracts. Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure timely reconciliation.
- Answer vendor billing questions and collaborate with external vendors and internal departments to resolve and prevent future issues.
- Contact member cooperatives by phone and email on a scheduled basis and enter order information into the ERP system. Direct customers to the proper area for order placement questions and issues.
- Apply knowledge of procedures to make appropriate business decisions in the best interest of customers and GROWMARK.

Maintain files in accordance with the audit retention schedule.Assist other Agronomy Accounting personnel with special projects and daily work as needed.Follow GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures as applicable.Perform all other duties as assigned.Requirements
Normally requires an associate's degree in accounting or equivalent and related experience.Demonstrates math and accounting skills; ability to work with complex account invoicing, analytical reports, marketing programs, and tax regulations for multiple corporations on OMNI system.Essential abilities : business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.Understanding and experience with invoicing, billing, account reconciliation, and other control functions, plus analysis and problem-solving skills.Professional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills; ability to work independently or in a team.Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn ERP and related business tools.May be required to work beyond normal business hours. May occasionally lift 21 to 50 lbs. Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.Willingness to participate in required training related to company policies and position requirements.Benefits and Employment Details
