Job Description

The Public Safety Security Officer works under the general supervision of the Chief of Police and the direct supervision of either the Shift Sergeant or Administrative Sergeant. The Security Officer is responsible for inside patrol and public assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inside patrol duties and support campus security operations.
• Respond to incidents and provide public assistance as needed.
• Maintain a good rapport with the campus population and communicate effectively.
