Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 9, 2025

End Date : February 7, 2026

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (19 : 00-07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours per week)

Guaranteed Hours : 36

Unit : Multi-specialty Med / Surg Telemetry (MS / TELE)

Dress Code : Solid Navy Scrubs

Parking : On-site parking available

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1720 - $1840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses)

BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)

Registered in NURSYS

Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; will consider candidates with at least 18 months of experience, including 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry

Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed

Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as required

Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a multi-specialty Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry and acute medical / surgical care

Care for a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, general surgery, and acute medical cases

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Focus on pain management, mobility, and prevention of complications

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures

Float to other units or hospitals as assigned

Provide compassionate nursing care and foster a safe, comfortable environment for patients
