As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Specialist in Erie, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic healthcare environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to various situations, and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeWed03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PMFri03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PMSat03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including those relevant to a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry to restricted areas within the location as required.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Support emergency response efforts as needed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when appropriate.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, patients, and visitors to provide information and assistance related to security-related matters.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must meet all vaccine requirements as mandated by the hospital.
  • Must be able to work in hospital environments including morgue areas as necessary.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to safely restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
