Keep reading…   A day in the life…   Wondering what a day in the life of a Data Engineer – Healthcare Analytics at The Iowa Clinic might look like? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that empower our organization to make data-driven decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for performance.   Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust ETL / ELT pipelines using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.
• Design and implement data models and architectures that support analytics and reporting needs.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
• Maintain documentation for data processes, systems, and architecture.
