This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Operations Manager in the United States .

The Business Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving growth and scaling operations across the organization. This position partners closely with leadership to lead high-impact initiatives, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for operational improvement. You will work cross-functionally, collaborating with multiple teams to solve complex, unstructured problems and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The role offers exposure to strategic decision-making and the opportunity to define key business metrics while contributing to a fast-paced, innovative environment. Ideal candidates are self-starters who can navigate ambiguity, leverage data to inform decisions, and influence stakeholders across the organization. Accountabilities

  • Partner with leadership to define and drive strategic business initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and organizational growth.
  • Lead and execute cross-functional projects to scale business functions and implement effective solutions.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively address inhibitors to growth.
  • Define, track, and measure key performance metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders, enabling informed decisions.

Requirements

  • 5–6+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking / private equity, or high-growth startup environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced, unstructured environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset, curiosity to learn, and the ability to operate independently.
  • Experience with marketplaces, two-sided platforms, or e-commerce is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL and dashboard tools is desirable.
