Construction Crew Leader

LaRosa Landscape - Cedarburg, WI

Position Overview

LaRosa Landscape is seeking an experienced Construction Crew Leader to join our growing team in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. This is a full-time position leading design-build installation projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces. During the off-season, responsibilities will include snow removal operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise hardscape installation crews on residential and commercial projects
Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications
Oversee installation of pavers, natural stone, retaining walls, and concrete work
Ensure quality standards and project timelines are met
Operate and maintain equipment including skid steers, excavators, and hand tools
Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures
Coordinate with your supervisor regarding job site requirements
Perform snow removal operations during winter months
Maintain accurate daily reports and time tracking

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of hardscape installation experience

Previous crew leadership experience

Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Ability to operate heavy equipment (skid steer, excavator experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of hardscape materials and installation techniques

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions

Snow removal experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) certification

Experience with grading and drainage systems

Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance

Bilingual capabilities (English / Spanish) a plus
