job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAudit clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with guidelines Collaborate with physicians and staff to enhance documentation practices and address improvement opportunities Monitor and analyze the quality and performance of the Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) program Administer training sessions for new staff and provide ongoing education to the CDI team Assist with third-party payor denials and other related projects Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care setting At least 18 months of experience in Clinical Documentation Improvement / Integrity (CDI) 5 or more years of coding experience in inpatient and / or outpatient ICD-10 CM / PCS Current RN license in Kansas or equivalent certification for foreign medical graduates CDI certification of CCDS and / or CDIP
