Easter Seals of Greater Houston is seeking an experienced Translator / Clerical Support professional to join our Conroe / Woodlands and Surrounding areas Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Team. ECI Infant Development services help young children with disabilities and / or developmental delays achieve their goals in cognitive, social / emotional, communicative, adaptive and physical development.

Job Opportunity : Translator / Clerical Support, Early Childhood Intervention

Position Type : Full-time supporting our Conroe and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide translation for hourly therapy sessions including PT, OT, EIS, SLP, social work, nutrition, AI and VI.
  • Provide translation for initial intakes.
  • Provide translation for initial and annual evaluations and initial and annual IFSPs.
  • Provide translation for scheduling client appointments.
  • Provide translation for Transition meetings as needed.
  • Complete monthly management tool, time sheet, and mileage to be turned in on the first Monday of the following month.
  • Translate any forms / letters as requested.
  • Confirm and send Telehealth invites for scheduled initial evaluations
  • Complete and Fax transfer-our paperwork to receiving ECI program
  • Help order, deliver, and organize supplies and materials for group services
  • Scan DAYC 2 protocols in to Provider Soft / Child Record
  • Help with United Way Campaign and Walk Team Organization and Communication
  • Adhere to all ES and ECI policies and procedures as reflected in the ES Employee Guidelines and the ECI Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills :

  • Must be able to speak fluent English, Spanish and / or other language
  • Must be able to write fluently in English, Spanish and / or other language
  • Willing to drive 75% in and around assigned area(s)
  • Possess good communication skills including speaking, listening, non-verbal communication, computer skills and writing skills
  • Must be professional in manner including attendance, punctuality, behavior, and dress
  • Must be able to work well with others including co-workers and clients

    • Requirements :

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluency and mastery of written / spoken English and Spanish Languages
