Contents Restoration Technician - PART TIME

Part Time Position

This part-time position is responsible for providing operational support in remediation efforts for client contents. Main functions will include performing tasks related to contents packouts, cleaning, deodorizing, manipulation, and storage. This position will be required to use a variety of specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals under supervision. We are looking for someone that is looking for part-time work and flexible non-guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks, performing dry and wet mitigation / pre-cleaning using accepted procedures, manipulating contents at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasks, correctly wrapping and packaging contents to prevent damage during transport, transporting contents to cleaning facility for cleaning and storage, performing daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintaining in clean serviceable condition, and having a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices.

Qualifications

Construction, restoration, or insurance industry experience preferred, must be able to identify product (consumables), usage, and disposal requirements with training, eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz's vehicle policy, possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices, frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs, and access and mobility in tight spaces.

Compensation : $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
