The Northville Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a creative and energetic professional to join its team at the Northville Community Center in a full-time role dedicated to serving seniors.
Under the direction of the Senior Services Superintendent, this position plans, organizes, and directs a wide variety of programs, classes, events, day trips, and travel opportunities. Responsibilities also include supporting the senior transportation program, coordinating with community partner agencies, and representing the department at community events.
In addition to program leadership, the position contributes to marketing and communications by helping to develop and implement strategies across print materials, digital platforms, photography, and social media. Collaboration is central to the role, with regular coordination alongside recreation, senior services, parks, facilities staff, and volunteers to deliver high-quality experiences.

A preferred undergraduate degree in Gerontology, Parks & Recreation, Education, or a related field. Experience in recreation, event planning, or senior services programming is required. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work professionally and courteously with the public in a collaborative environment are essential. Candidates must be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office and department-specific applications, and demonstrate competency in managing multiple social media platforms.
