Lead Simulation Engineer

A company is looking for a Lead Simulation Engineer to join their Product Safety organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team in developing simulation tests to validate the performance and safety of autonomous driving software

Collaborate with various engineering teams to ensure comprehensive simulation coverage of driving scenarios

Analyze simulation results to identify trends and insights for performance improvements

Required Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

5+ years of experience in automotive testing and 2+ years in creating simulations for autonomous driving software

Coding and / or scripting experience in high-level languages (Java / Python)

Experience testing vehicles or autonomous robotic systems is desirable

Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems and autonomous vehicle safety standards is a plus
