Sales Consultants are responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, tastings, and servicing accounts. This person will be servicing accounts in the Mukwonago, Delavan, and Whitewater areas.
Territory Management
- Ensure consistent customer contact
- Properly plan and execute sales initiatives
- Handle all customer related issues in a prompt and friendly manner
Selling
Full understanding of products and pricing schedulesMake effective sales presentationsAchieve assigned company objectives and successfully grow businessIdentify and nurture new accountsUnderstand account focus and who their customers areUnderstand competitive setsStay up to date on regions, vintages, and market trendsMerchandising
Use all available POS to enhance selling effortsFocus on merchandising basics such as display size and location, shelf position and standards, cold boxes, counters, windows, and anywhere else consumers can be impactedUtilize resources for on-premise i.e., wine list printing, table tents, staff training cardsUnderstand value-add opportunities with accounts as permissible- tastings, wine dinners, seminars, staff trainingsServicing
Follow necessary steps when making sales callsPerform reliable inventory checks and communicate properly to minimize order mistakesProperly rotate products on shelves, cold boxes, displays, etc.Ensure vintage accuracy on wine listsAdministration
Adhere to all company policies and proceduresHandle all paperwork issues in a proper and timely mannerPosition Qualifications
