Facility :

This facility is a comprehensive healthcare system with a full continuum of neuromusculoskeletal specialists. The organization features collaborative relationships with specialists in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Trauma / Critical Care, Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, Interventional Pain, Internal Medicine, and various medical subspecialties. The facility maintains a comprehensive spine program and offers excellent access to outpatient therapy with therapists who sub-specialize in neuro, pediatric, and musculoskeletal conditions.

Opportunity : PM&R - PHYSICAL MEDICINE & REHABILITATION

Join a well-established practice of 7 physicians including 5 adult and 2 pediatric Physiatrists. This position requires Board Certification or Board Eligibility in PM&R.

Job Details :

  • Comprehensive, general adult PM&R practice focusing on physiatric consultation and management for neurologic, limb loss, and spine conditions
  • Primarily outpatient practice with rotation on the inpatient rehab service
  • Approximately 1 : 10 call schedule
  • Collaborative work with Neurosurgery, Occupational Medicine, and Interventional Pain in managing patients with acute and chronic spine conditions
  • Collaboration with General and Interventional Neurology and Neurosurgery for patients with neurologic conditions
  • Active involvement in maintaining a comprehensive spine program within the health system
  • Participation in regular spine management conferences and peer colleague case reviews
  • Practice may include electrodiagnostic studies
  • Additional procedural opportunities including botulinum toxin injections and baclofen pump management
  • Assessment and management of patients with long-term functional limitations
  • Development of care plans in consultation with other specialists
  • Regional outreach opportunities
