Facility :

This is a well-established regional medical center with a dedicated 15-bed department for cardiothoracic services. As a Level 2 trauma facility, it provides comprehensive surgical care and specialized services to patients throughout north central Wisconsin.

Opportunity :

Advanced Practice Provider PA / NP

Job Details :

Daily coverage from 6am-6pm (end time varies) with weekend coverage on a 1 : 3 rotation

Round with cardiothoracic surgeons and provide comprehensive patient care

Assist with vein harvesting procedures when needed

First assist in the operating room as required

Perform various procedures based on skillset including A-line placement, central line insertion, thoracentesis, and chest tube placement

Evaluate and manage new consults independently

Complete patient rounds, orders, and notes on weekends with the ability to leave after completion Respond to pages regarding patient care during day hours Possibility of being called back for emergencies or additional patient assistance

No in-house call required during nights / weekends (surgeon takes first call)

Must be licensed in Wisconsin

ACLS and BLS certifications required

90-day credentialing timeframe expected

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
