The Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections Corrections Services is looking for a dedicated team member to support public safety. This position offers fair, professional, and responsive corrections services with integrity, accountability, and respect for the rights and dignity of all.

This is an opportunity to work in a large, multi-custody field operation that houses adult male offenders of all custody levels minimum, medium, maximum (death row), and protective custody.

An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies :

• Communicating Effectively : The ability to relay information correctly and appropriately to connect people and ideas.
• Focusing on Customers : The ability to serve the needs of those who support and / or rely on the services provided.
• Managing Resources : The ability to ensure resources such as time, money, and people are utilized appropriately to result in maximum business value.
• Using Data : The ability to use relevant and valid data to inform a recommendation for action.

Minimum qualifications include : three years of human resources experience; or six years of full-time experience in any field; or a bachelor's degree. Experience substitution is available.

Job duties include processing the full range of personnel and payroll actions, ensuring data integrity, and providing employee benefit information. This position also offers premium pay based on years of service with DOC.
