Stanford Health Tri-Valley Family Medicine Residency Program and University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC / BE Pediatrician to join our Family Medicine Residency clinic in Pleasanton and Castro Valley locations.

Position Overview :

This unique position combines direct patient care with educational responsibilities, providing an opportunity for a pediatrician to play a crucial role in the professional development of family medicine residents. The pediatrician will work closely with residents on a one-on-one basis, fostering a collaborative learning environment that enhances clinical skills and patient care.

The teaching responsibilities for this position include mentoring family medicine residents for 8 four-week blocks each year in addition to participating in the family medicine educational didactics 6-8 times per year.

Position Details :

• 24-32 patient contact hours per week
• Community-based / teaching practice

Provide formative feedback to residents during patient care

The Stanford Tri-Valley Family Medicine Residency Program is an 8 / 8 / 8 innovative, academically rigorous, community-based program with an emphasis on wellbeing and support. Located in Pleasanton, CA, the goals for the Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley FM residency program are to address the national physician shortage, create a pipeline for primary care clinicians and community leaders serving the Tri-Valley region, and develop the primary care national academic leaders of the future.
