In this role, the CNC Programmer Machinist will program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to manufacture high-precision components according to engineering specification. CAD or similar software will be utilized to design programs.

Position Summary

Responsible for creating programs and making edits as needed utilizing CAD / CAM software

Set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and selecting appropriate tooling.

Ensure CNC machines operate within specified tolerances and quality standards.

Monitor machine operations, adjust as needed to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts to verify conformance to design specifications.

Verification of CNC machined parts; inspect tool geometry using various measuring tools.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous CNC experience required, including mills & lathes

Familiarity with SolidWorks / CAD / CAM software

Experience working with tight tolerance parts a plus

Strong shop math skills, (standard & metric)

Ability to read blueprints along with mathematical inclination
