Baker Job Description

We are seeking a baker assitant to join our team for our AM shift. As a Baker assitant, you will be responsible for measuring and combining ingredients, and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods such as cookies, bread, cakes, etc. You will also be responsible for testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with designing new and improving existing recipes
  • Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods
  • Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
  • Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels of baked goods
  • Keeping spoilage / waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities, portioning and rotating products

Requirements :

  • 1-2years of experience in a baking department
