We are currently seeking a Social Worker (Part Time) to join our Senior Behavioral Health Clinic . In this role, you’ll provide high-quality social work services to patients in our Senior Behavioral Health Center Unit. You'll play a key role in coordinating mental health care, offering patient advocacy, and ensuring safe and effective discharge planning—all in alignment with the standards of the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board, OSHA, HFAP, and other regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities include :

Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans

Providing counseling, emotional support, and mental health coordination

Advocating for patients and helping them access community and social resources

Coordinating discharge planning to ensure safe and smooth transitions

Engaging with families to support patient treatment goals

Collaborating with psychiatric providers and interdisciplinary care teams

QUALIFICATIONS : Education :

Master’s degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education preferred

Experience :

Two years post-LMSW experience in mental health or geriatrics preferred

Licensure, registration or certification :

Current license to practice social work in the state of Kansas required

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
