CVOR Rad Tech Full Time Days Position Summary

\n

The RN, Cardiovascular functions within their primary role of Circulator. The RN, Cardiovascular complies and completes accurate and timely information on the Doctor’s Preference Card by creating new cards for the new procedures, and new surgeons and updating cards for changes in surgeon’s preferences of supplies, instrumentation and equipment. This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of the Specialty Service; Oversees equipment / supply needs; Exhibits a mastery of nursing functions in the specialty service to advise and teach other patient care team members.

THE CVOR RAD TECH FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

MINIMUM EDUCATION : Completion of formal two-year radiologic technology training in AMA approved school which meets requirements for registry by the ARRT or equivalent on-the-job training including a minimum of four months orientation.

Preferred Experience : Prefer 1 year of acute care experience

\n

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE : : Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse BLS / ACLS

\n

Required Certifications / Licensure : Current Arizona Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Current BLS

\n

SPECIAL SKILLS : Demonstrated critical thinking skills to be able to pass orientation.
