Fort Valley State University (FVSU), a state and land-grant institution of the University System of Georgia, invites applications for the position of Enrollment Associate. Fort Valley State University, the only 1890 land-grant university in Georgia, is a comprehensive institution that provides an education to over 2,800 students including graduate students. The university is located in the town of Fort Valley in Peach County, the original site of the state's peach industry. Its 1,365-acre (5.52 km2) campus is Georgia's second-largest public university in area.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the processing enrollment documents and facilitating the admission process for all incoming students.

Major Duties

• Assist in the processing and receipt of incoming admission applications and enrollment documents (ex : transcripts, test scores, supporting documents, etc.)
• Learn and utilize all available document management systems integrated through the FVSU admission process while maintaining accurate, confidential student records.
• Manage Dual Enrollment process and communicate with Dual Enrollment students, their parents, and associated school counselors.
• Support on-campus Admissions events such as Open House, campus tours, and other events.
• Provide exemplary customer service experience to prospective students, guests, and the campus community
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.
