Piping Technology & Products, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer - ENTRY LEVEL. The company is a leading manufacturer of engineered pipe supports and other piping system products used in power, refining, chemical, and related industries.

Job Summary

The Field Service Engineer supports the Field Services Manager and General Manager by coordinating and executing field service activities. Responsibilities include scheduling and supervising site visits, installations, and inspections; providing technical troubleshooting support; overseeing equipment installation; operating 3D scanning equipment and related software; and producing accurate inspection reports. This role requires regular travel (50%- 75%) and participation in a 24 / 7 emergency response rotation.

Job Accountabilities

  • Perform duties efficiently in varying environmental conditions
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Ensure accuracy, punctuality, and quality in all assignments
  • Promptly report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
  • Support housekeeping and clean-up tasks
  • Work overtime as required
  • Assist with preparation and delivery of inspection reports
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 1 Year Work Experience
  • Proficiency in reading tape measures and operating power tools
  • General knowledge of plant safety practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, kneel, twist, pull, push, grip, and climb
  • Capacity to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds consistently
  • Adequate visual acuity for equipment operation and mechanical tasks
  • Willingness to work in environments involving noise, vibration, chemicals, oils, moving machinery, and varying weather conditions
