The School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri are seeking Physician Assistant - Specialty Care for multiple settings. These positions provide vital clinical support for the MU Department of Neurology & Sleep Disorders Clinic.

Opportunity Highlights :

Inpatient Role

  • Full-time FTE : -hour shifts per month
  • Schedule includes some weekend coverage
  • Collaborative team of six NP / PAs in the Neurocritical Care Unit
  • Flexible scheduling with multiple days off
  • No call required

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide independent and collaborative care for neurological patients in an inpatient setting
  • Communicate with physicians regarding clinical changes, diagnostic results, and symptomatology
  • Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes
  • Perform treatments and interventions, educate patients and families, and facilitate clinical research
  • Utilize basic computer skills, problem-solving abilities, and adapt to varied work settings

    Shift

    Shift Type : Variable shift up to 40 hours per week

    Minimum Qualifications

    Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

    Anticipated Hiring Range

    Hiring Range : $90,251.20-$147,284.80

    Grade : PAT-012

    University Title : PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT SPECIALTY CARE
