Locum Hematology / Oncology Physician Coos Bay, OR
Location : Coos Bay, Oregon
Position Type : Locum Tenens
Start Date : April 1, 2025 (Ongoing)
Call Requirements : 7 days per month, including 1 weekend (1 : 4 rotation)
Shift details : Minimum of 2 weeks of coverage per month; 4 or 5 days per week, 8 : 30a-4 : 30p, admin day or 1 / 2 day if needed
Opportunity Overview :
Seeking a Board-Certified Hematology / Oncology Physician for locum coverage in outpatient cancer center. This opportunity offers a mix of oncology and hematology cases (80% oncology, 20% hematology) , with a focus on seeing new solid tumor diagnoses within one week of referral .
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide outpatient oncology / hematology care in a free-standing cancer center
- Average 10-15 outpatient visits per day
- Hospital rounding only when inpatient chemo is required
- Supervise and collaborate with 2 APPs
- Work with radiation oncologists on-site
- Utilize EPIC EMR
