A company is looking for a Medical Policy Analyst (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth research and evaluate medical literature for policy revisions
Collaborate with the Medical Director to revise medical policies and procedures
Maintain the Medical Policy Reference Manual and ensure proper dissemination of policies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, English, or related field, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
3 years of clinical experience in Medical Surgical, Mental Health, or related fields
Experience in research methodology and systematic evaluation of medical literature
Registered Nurse (RN) state licensure required
Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
