A Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining rotational molding machines used to manufacture plastic products. This role involves setting up molds, ensuring proper machine operation, inspecting finished parts, and performing basic maintenance to ensure product quality as per customer specifications.

2nd Shift, 3pm – 11pm, Monday thru Friday (1.00 Shift Differential)
3rd Shift, 11pm - 7am Sunday thru Thursday (1.75 Shift Differential)
Weigh pails of powder as per product specifications i.e.. weight, color
Ensure all supplies are stocked prior to your shift i.e.. Mold release, enhancer, vent tubes etc.
Prepare molds for clean vent tubes, parting lines and breather tubes prior to the start of each cycle
Check product quality for any defects and report quality issues to Lead Hand and / or Supervisor
Read and understand procedures to produce products
Assist with mold changes as required
Ensure wearing PPE at all times
Record number of products completed per shift on daily Productivity Sheets
Maintain a clean work station
Perform other duties a required
Work on production floor
Grade 12 minimum or equivalent
Experience using hand tools and air tools
Familiar with a manufacturing setting
Ensure all work activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with Company PPE standards
Mechanical knowledge is an asset
Quality control techniques is an asset
Perform repetitive movements
Stand, bend, for long periods of time
Lift between 15 – 60 lbs.
