Schedule 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend. Job Description The Emergency Room RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. This role involves assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, and coordinating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assess and triage patient conditions in a timely manner. Provide emergency nursing care and support in accordance with protocols. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for optimal patient care. Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records. Maintain a safe and compliant working environment. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure At least 3 years of emergency department experience in a similar-sized ED with trauma level 1 or 2. Active Virginia or Compact RN license at the time of submission. ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required. Trauma Certification (ATCN / TNCC / ATLC) is preferred.
