Overview
As a Multi-Craft Electrical & Instrumentation Technician , reporting to the Lead Craftsperson, you will be responsible for working with 3-phase motors (up to 2300 volts), control components, pneumatic control devices, transmitters, control valves, and PLC / DCS control systems. Responsibilities
Uphold and promote safety standards by attending training sessions, participating in safety committee meetings, and addressing safety concerns. Always follow safe practices, wear required protective gear, and complete pre-job safety checklists.
Independently perform routine assignments by following drawings, sketches, and written or oral instructions. Use established procedures and accepted practices to complete tasks efficiently.
Provide all necessary documentation, including time confirmations and job feedback, upon task completion.
Adapt to various crew assignments and job requirements, maintaining flexibility to work safely and efficiently within a team.
Requirements
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience and training, or a combination of education and experience totaling at least 5 years.
Proficiency in industrial electrical and instrumentation systems, including troubleshooting and interfacing with PLC / DCS systems.
