Overview / Role
We are seeking a Residential Construction Sales Representative to drive new business opportunities and foster relationships with existing clients. You will play a pivotal role in growing our client base by understanding customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service. This role requires knowledge of residential construction, a background in sales / marketing, and strong interpersonal communication skills. The position should generate sufficient estimates and sales volume to support the company's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets through monitored KPIs.Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and marketing efforts.Collaborate with marketing, estimating, and project management teams to create customized proposals.Manage leads through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.Participate in sales training sessions to maximize close rates and help track sales success through company KPIs.Address client concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.Attend after-hours networking functions as required.Skills & Qualifications
Aligns with JLV's core values and demonstrates them with intention and action.5+ years of sales experience; residential construction sales experience is strongly preferred.Ability to read blueprints, perform material take-offs, and discuss plans with architects, project managers, interior designers, etc.Client management / relationshipsSales planning and understanding the customerCreative services and ability to think outside the box to achieve client and company objectivesBe the advocate for and trusted advisor to the clientCompensation
