The R&D Technician will work extensively in the Heavy Equipment market segment supporting Powder coating technologies. The technician will be accountable for routine experiments, recording results, and learning basic knowledge of raw materials, using lab equipment to prepare powder samples, run basic testing, and capture and record data.
Responsibilities include :
- Demonstrates knowledge of basic computer skills
- Upkeeps Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) to document all formulation, processes, and testing data
- May use Microsoft Work / Excel / other software programs to record and report data
- Demonstrates ability to manage time efficiently
- May work on multiple projects at once
- Maintains clean work areas and participates in Housekeeping and Safety programs as required
Performs sample preparation and testing according to set standards
Works with manager and chemists on the team to understand project needs and priorities
Complies with all safety regulations
