We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to own the full commercial contracting lifecycle — from intake to signature- for our client who is a rapidly growing software company. This role will lead complex negotiations, streamline processes, manage risk, and shape the legal framework that supports the company’s continued growth.
This position is 100% remote, but must reside within the United States.
Responsibilities :
Lead commercial contracting with enterprise customers, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Order Forms, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and channel partnership agreements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Product, and other departments to align on key legal terms and business decisions
Review and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure policy alignment, appropriate risk tolerance, and favorable commercial terms
Develop, maintain, and enforce contract playbooks, fallback positions, and templates to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency
Drive improvements in contracting processes and tools to enhance scalability and efficiency
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience as a Senior Paralegal or Contract Manager, with demonstrated ability to produce attorney-level work product and sound judgment
Must have experience working for a software company and creating and maintaining legal B2B contracts with customers
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision
Strategic and pragmatic negotiator who can balance business outcomes with risk management
Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in fast-paced and dynamic environments
Process-oriented mindset with a passion for building scalable systems and continuous improvement
