As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a renowned hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence for guests and staff. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the property, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.87 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Tue 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Wed 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel or resort location
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a welcoming environment
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding guests and staff during incidents
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures
  • Collaborate with hotel or resort management and other personnel to address security-related needs and concerns

  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Experience with access control systems and / or badge systems is preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred
  • A guard card or license is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
