Senior Accounting Manager

Summary :  The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This role involves leading core accounting tasks, M&A accounting, contributing to financial reporting, performing reconciliations and analysis, and preparing detailed financial statements to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Serve as the finance lead for business combinations and integrations, including preparing and finalizing opening balance sheet positions and purchase price adjustments.

Lead technical accounting matters and manage earnout schedules for business acquisition-related payouts.

Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and preparation of adjusting journal entries.

Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during annual audits and regulatory examinations.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, including supervisory responsibilities.

CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is preferred.

Experience with M&A accounting.

Experience with financial reporting.
