• Required Certifications : BLS
• Required Skills : Acute Inpatient OR,Outpatient OR,Arthroscopy knee, shoulder, wrist,Closed reduction of fractures,ORIF shoulder, hip, humerus,Total knee replacement,Total hip replacement,Ortho,Ortho / Total joints,Apply tourniquet as ordered,Assist to secure drainage system to tissue,Clamping / cauterizing vessels or tissues,Counting sponges & related items with circulating nurse,Cut Tissue,Digital manipulation of tissue,Direct digital pressure,Insert drainage tubes,Manipulation of surgical materials (loops, tags),Starting Peripheral IV’s,Suctioning, irrigation, sponging,Suturing all wound layers including muscle and fascia,Tying / ligating clamped vessels or tissues,Wound dressing; liquid or spray occlusive,Aseptic Technique,Isolation Precautions,Laparoscopic assisted cases
