job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHours are usually 10 plus hrs / day 5 days a week - rarely a Saturday work Some travel required in the Southeast area of State Depending on Jobsite - overnight stays are suggested but not required Transport asphalt materials to construction sites in a safe and efficient manner Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues Maintain accurate daily logs and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations Report any incidents, accidents, or violations CDL - Class A is helpful - but will train right person Clean driving record Physically fit and able to load and unload materials Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable truck driver to join our team at Spencer Quarries Incorporated in Mitchell, SD. As a truck driver for Commercial Asphalt, you will be driving Newer late model equipment - End Dump or a Tractor pulling belly dumps, flowboys or move our plants & equipment to and from jobsites.
We are a EOE & a Pre employement Drug Screen & Physical is required.
Pay : $25-$30 / hr depending on experince
This is a Construction Season Full Time position with full benefits
