Utility Worker
As a Utility Worker, you will ensure the facility consistently meets all sanitation requirements outlined by government, American Institute of Baking, and business unit standards. Your role emphasizes safety, reliability, integrity, compliance, and efficiency, while assisting employees with mill-related challenges.
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all safety policies, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures.
- Climb stairs and ladders to access various facility areas.
- Wear and utilize a full-body secondary fall protection harness for working at heights above 10 feet.
- Work in tight or confined spaces.
- Use compressed air hoses and wands for cleaning overhead areas.
- Scrub floors and equipment, ensuring cleanliness.
- Handle and move 50-pound flour / mill stocks, bagged products, and ingredient boxes.
- Empty 50-pound boxes and bags into waist-high feeder hoppers.
- Operate chain hoists, pallet jacks, and fork trucks.
- Pick up spilled products using shovels and barrels.
- Perform repair work on sifters during designated mill repair days.
- Keep the assigned work area clean and orderly.
- Follow verbal and written instructions in English and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Record data accurately in plant control system computers and operate computer process controls.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Work Environment
This position operates in a heavy industrial environment during the first shift from 6 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm. Expect to engage in physically demanding tasks that require adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 / hr.
