TITLE : Faculty Clinician (temporary adjunct)
DEPARTMENT : Health Centers
DIVISION : Academic Affairs
STATUS : Exempt
Note : As a member of our exempt work force there could be occasions when a commitment beyond the normal workweek may be required.
Salary information : $55 / hr.

General Description :
Reporting to the Dean of Clinical Education / Assistant Dean of Clinical Education, the Faculty Clinician is responsible to supervise and work with clinical students to provide quality patient care and complete required documentation for both patient care and student education. The position is an appointment requiring service to the College divided among teaching, research and scholarly activity, and citizenship in a manner that promotes continuity and equality among faculty, staff and students.

General Responsibilities :
The faculty consists of all individuals in the employ of Northeast holding academic rank and engaged in instructional, scholarly and professional, or academic service activities for the College. These activities include, but are not limited to : laboratory, classroom, online, and health center instruction; work of professional librarians; course and curriculum development; research; participation in student advising, enrollment management functions, College governance; and service to one’s profession.

NOTE : Due to the driving / travel requirements, this position is subject to the College’s Motor Vehicle Use Policy and the employee will be required to sign a release upon hire, as well as, annually; so that the College may obtain a Motor Vehicle Report for the personnel file.
